- A 45-minute online session to welcome your team and explain how best to use the website and additional support.
- 4 hours of targeted consultancy time online with our founder to help develop outdoor learning at your school.
- Outdoor Learning Evaluation and Progression Tool (A detailed 5-year outdoor learning strategy, designed to align with your school’s vision and long-term goals). The tool has been created in line with HGIOS (How Good is our School).
- Example risk assessments and best practice guidance.
- Support with Forest School, including implementation and integration.
- Ideas for developing loose parts play to enhance outdoor experiences.
- Guidance on measuring the impact of outdoor learning.
- Strategies for recording learning effectively.

A bit about the consultancy hours
- These do need to be used throughout the 12 months of the membership and cannot be carried over.
- They are for the member school only and cannot be used in conjunction with other schools.
- Must work within our diary restraints. While our members are a priority and we endeavour to meet you at a time that suits you, we have a lot of schools we are working with and are just a small team.
- Delivered online unless otherwise agreed.
- Finally, they are used for consultation and not training – we’re aware that sometimes it feels as though there’s the slimmest of lines between the two!

- Liaising with parent council to help them understand the benefit of outdoor learning.
- Q + A sessions with staff to support learning and teaching.

Our approach does not require extended periods of time outdoors. You can spend part of a lesson outdoors, and still experience the benefits while supporting learning. Of course, if you want to spend a whole lesson outdoors, that is ok as well!
Curriculum-based outdoor learning has been shown to have long term positive impacts on learning, attainment, mental health and motivation. It is not yet another add on for teachers but a tool that supports what they are already doing.
