Curriculum-based outdoor learning does not need a woodland or forest; it can happen in your school playground or your local area, even if your playground is concrete, inner-city or on a beach. This opens up opportunities for staff and children to benefit from it.
Our online membership site supports you and your team. We work with nurseries and primary and secondary schools. We even support charities and education providers. Our members come from mainstream settings as well as severe and complex settings.
An individual teacher gets access to:
- hundreds of activity ideas
- over 200 lessons to give you the ideas to head outside
- curriculum maps to make your planning simple
- progression planners to highlight the wider skills developed in outdoor learning
- access to our members-only Facebook group
- regular members-only updates, with more ideas, hints and tips
- monthly calendars which have lessons for the myriad of awareness days and weeks schools cover throughout the year
- and so much more
As an establishment, you will get all of the above, and…
- ongoing email support for your whole team from a named member of staff
- a 45minute online session to welcome your team and explain how best to use the website and additional support
- 4 hours of targeted consultancy time online with our founder to help develop outdoor learning at your school
- access to on-demand online training for your whole team
- and much more
Establishments have access to all of this for just £649 per year.
We also provide all schools who undertake training with 12 months of membership to ensure outdoor learning is fully embedded.
We can create custom packages for local authorities and trusts. Email us to discuss this.

Our support puts the curriculum at the forefront and uses your outdoor environment to support learning. Our curriculum maps cover each curricular area, so it is quick and easy for you to find the lessons that will help without spending hours planning.
Our approach does not require extended periods of time outdoors. You can spend part of a lesson outdoors, and still experience the benefits while supporting learning. Of course, if you want to spend a whole lesson outdoors, that is ok as well!
Curriculum-based outdoor learning has been shown to have long term positive impacts on learning, attainment, mental health and motivation. It is not yet another add on for teachers but a tool that supports what they are already doing.
We really want you to get everything you can from this, so when you join we invite you to join us for a call to help us understand your needs and to make sure we are the right fit for you!
This helps ensure you can get every possible benefit from the portal but also helps us create new content to better fit your needs. We constantly create new content with our members in mind, providing them with what the need, when they need it. We are a team, we want to work with you so that you never feel alone or lost outdoors again.
